Portland Stone and Marble Table

A beautiful table with white antique Portland stone carved plinth bases and a white Carrara marble top.

This is a simple and elegant contemporary use of antique limestone plinths and marble. 

The Portland Stone plinths were originally from Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, England.

Portland stone is quarried in Dorset and is a Jurassic white limestone. It has been used to construct buildings such as St Paul's Cathedral.
